Kick off your shoes and relax your feet with Soles 4 Souls for National Barefoot Week. The charity will be distributing more than 50,000 shoes in the United States this week and encouraging the community to participate. Yesterday, the organization distributed shoes in downtown Los Angeles.
We believe it's extremely important to get involved in your community - something as small as donating your shoes could change a life.

Earlier this year our team rallied together to give Hope To Family in Need. We partnered with PATH, a nonprofit organization, to assist a homeless family who recently moved to California. In PATH's newsletter, they tell the story of Julia and her four children. We're happy to share their inspirational journey and strongly encourage giving back in your local community. See more of the newsletter below.

We are proud to announce that Creative Recreation donated more than 6,000 sneakers to the Soles4Souls 50,000 Pairs in 50 Days Challenge. Our team came together to organize, box, label and ship men's, women's and kids shoes to Haitian earthquake survivors and help the inspirational organization achieve its goal.

We here at Creative Recreation realize the importance of giving back and that's why we're supporting Soles4Souls'Â Project: Haiti 50,000 Pair in 50 Days Challenge. Over the next week, our staff, friends and family are organizing and donating shoes to the amazing cause, helping the organization come one step closer to its goal. More than 20,000 shoes have been donated so far and we encourage you to donate to the Haitian earthquake victims.

Creative Recreation gives hope to a family in need. Our staff participated in PATH's Housing First program: A strategy that places families who are homeless into housing. We sponsored a single veteran mother and her four children, providing gift cards, food and new and used household goods, to help the family better prepare for their move.
Visit PATH's website to find out how you can help eliminate homelessness.
